Departure time has nearly arrived!

With only one day left before departure on Monday, August 7, we spent the day dealing with final cruise preparation details: a washdown, topping up the diesel, installing jacklines, and shopping for perishables.

Look for updates after we return on the 25th of August!

There are some things that just need to be on the boat for a summer cruise. Like books.

In an effort to minimize provisioning panic, I have started planning, and actually shopping for Cruise 2006 already... Take a look, and tell me what I've forgotten!

Day 2 of our shakedown cruise to Chebeague Island.

A cruise! A cruise! Or, at least, an overnight.

We didn't go far, but we did manage to finally get out for our first overnight. Leaving late on a Friday we made a quick jaunt over to Chebeague Island, just for a shakedown cruise. There were a few issues, and we ended up with a big list of things we need to bring out to the boat for the next trip, but overall it was a success.
