Distance Travelled: 4.5 nm | Pickering Island to Bucks Harbor

Awoke 0230. Seemed damp, but no fog. Back to sleep till 0545. Got up to F.O.G.! Coffee and reding. Waited to hear from H re: arrival time. Hope fog lifts! ¶ Around 1000 fog scaled back some. Left w/1-2 miles vis. Powered up to Bucks in light to no wind. Arrived at 1115, picked up usual BHYC mooring. Cleaned boat, consolidated things to make room for expected gear and provisions from H. Fam arrived around 1600 while I was chatting with Andrew Breece. Dinghy motor wouldn't start--flooded. Rowed in and got all the gear. Dinghy overflowing! Rowed it out, then back to get H and G. Stowed gear and provisions then took extras (bags, coolers, etc,) ashore. ¶ Motored over to Tim's boat in Lem Cove to invite him over for oysters and dinner. Yum! Osters, haddock braised in olvis and toms, and grilled pork ribs with fresh native corn. After dinner G to bed. Stayed up late reading.
