Distance Travelled: 0 nm | Lay Day,s Northeast Harbor, Mount Desert Island

We had planned to spend a few days in Northeast Harbor, exploring Acadia. This was a lay day. We did get to move off the awful floating dock and onto a 200 series mooring„both cheaper and more private.

From the log: Showers!!! Headed on long bus trip to Southwest Harbor. Visited Oceanarium. Kind of cool, but a little too old for G. He did like the fish tanks and the touch-tank with urchins, starfish, large snails and sea cucumbers. ¶ Returned to boat for nap. H and I both went ashore separately to check email/internet. After nap time we went to Jordon Pond House for popovers out on the lawn. Nice. Returned to boat for a nice relaxing evening
