Distance Travelled: 0 nm | Lay Day, Merchant Harbor

cruise photo None of us felt any pressing need to push on to a new location, Plus, Tim and I were meeting our families the following day, so this was the last day of the "Bachelor's Cruise" and so we agreed on another lay day. Such is the trial of cruising.

From the log: Slept late„0800. Had coffee and read for a while. Around 1030 went to Glissando and cooked up steak and eggs. Mmmmm. [Cooking aboard someone else's boat can be an adventure!] By noon it was clear that we weren't going anywhere. Around 1300 we all headed ashore [at] Harbor Island. Explored for an hour and a half or so. Returned home. Read, had lunch, and relaxed. Cocktails/dinner were aboard Dasein. Jazz on MPR [Maine Public Radio]. Nice sunset; breeze blew till late (5 knots or so) making it quite chilly. Last day of Bachelor's Cruise.
