Dasein | Pearson Triton 668 | Sailing, Cruising, Restoring, Renovating

Finally! After a couple of missed opportunities to sail, I managed to get my first sail of the season. A little fog, a little sun, and a gentle easterly breeze combined for a great shakedown.

And as a bonus, I got to clean the nasty grime off the boat, too!

With friends visiting from Long Island (NY) we didn't really have a change to get out for a shakedown sail. But we did make time to head out to the boat for a couple of beers aboard on Saturday afternoon. Nothing to report besides a couple of enjoyable hours at the mooring.

Although we got an embarrassingly late start to the season this year, the day did eventually arrive. Although the weather was grey, it was not overly cold and we had a pleasant and uneventful launching day.

And at the end of the day, Dasein was hanging on her own mooring tackle for the first time in 3 years!
