May 15 | 6.6 Nautical Miles

Arrived at approx. 0830 to thick fog. Picked up dinghy at PYC and motored to Falmouth town landing to pick up Heather, Gavin, and gear. Flat calm. Rigged jib and reefing lines. Ligh breeze (2-3knots) filling in. Decided to sail. Ghosted through anchoratge at 1.8-2.2knots. Headed out past the north end of Clapboard and sailed toward Hussey before tacking. Breeze filling in at 6-8 knots. Headed toward Chebeague on beam reach. Topped out at 5.6 knots. Pssed lower basket ledge and ran off to upper basket ledge. Gybed around ledge and close reached back toward FTL. Breeze eventually died and motored in, passing Glissando for a quick hello. Picked up mooring as the breeze started filling in from the west.
